Stable conservation with acids

Grain conservation with acids is regarded as an efficient and cost-effective process for the energy-preserving storage of freshly harvested, moist or pumpable substrates in biogas production.
BC.ACID 1 and 2 are acid mixtures for preservation that have a pronounced antimicrobial effect. They actively intervene in the carbohydrate metabolism of microorganisms. This prevents the development of moulds and bacteria during storage and protects moist cereals, CCM and secondary raw materials from process-inhibiting yeast formation.
BC.ACID 1 is particularly suitable for the conservation of pumpable substrates. It ensures stable and low-loss storage of the substrates in the storage container, even with fluctuating water contents.
BC.ACID 2 is a preservative acid for the treatment of pourable substrates during the storage phase. The low evaporation rate makes the product particularly user-friendly. The process is characterised by a high impact during storage.
Both products are specially tailored to the requirements of biogas production and ensure optimum substrate hygiene. BC.ACID 1 and 2 reduce the growth of undesirable microbes and the associated nutrient degradation. This leaves more nutrients for methane production and at the same time fewer foreign germs enter the fermenter, which disrupt the biological processes.
